Practice Emphasizes Disposition of Employee Benefit Plans on Marital Termination and other deferred compensation plans on divorce.

     Ms. DiFranza's primary expertise is comprised of the ability to apply the principles of Nevada and California community property law to deferred compensation assets including pension plans. Because one should not operate on assets one does not fully understand, she has studied hundreds of employee benefit plans as well as federal state, and local pension law over the years. This allows her to provide clients and their counsel with the best possible advice in receiving, retaining, or being compensated for their lawful share of pension and deferred compensation assets. She does not, however, hold herself out as an expert on pensions and other deferred compensation, and will seek expert help in that regard when a new and complex pension or other asset presents itself in one of her cases.

     Ms. DiFranza is a Certified Family Law Specialist Certified by the California State Bar, Board of Specialization.  She is a member of the bars in Nevada and California.
